Joe LaSorte is one of the premier blues guitarists in the mid-Atlantic region. He picked up his first guitar at age 11, and quickly progressed to playing with various east coast cover bands and blues outfits throughout the 1970s and 1980s. For most of the 1990s Joe lived in Chicago, where he was the lead guitar player for Chicago blues phenomonen Sam Cockrell, and played onstage with such blues heavyweights as Smokin’ Joe Kubek, Eddie “The Chief” Clearwater, and Big Time Sarah. Moving back to Delaware in 1999, Joe played with Dr. Harmonica and Rockett 88 and Lonnie Shields before becoming a founding member of the Roger Girke Band. He co-produced and wrote several songs for Girke’s award winning CD “My Baby Loves That Stuff.” Joe’s tasteful and unique guitar style blends the blues with elements of soul and jazz, and is heavily influenced by such masters as Albert King, BB King, Jeff Beck, Robben Ford, and Larry Carlton.

Neal Tillotson honed his rhythm and blues chops backing up soul icon Larry Tucker before joining popular regional rock band Bad Sneakers in 1980. He recorded three albums as a drummer, singer and songwriter with Bad Sneakers, including the 1984 release “Beat the Meter” that hit number 25 on U.S. Rock magazine’s national independent-label airplay chart. Throughout the 1990s Neal freelanced with the Sin City Band, Dr. Harmonica and the Roger Girke Band, perfecting the rootsy, funk-infused style of drumming that he brings to the Teletones. He cites as his primary influences master session drummers Steve Gadd and Russ Kunkel, along with rock icons Bill Bruford, Ginger Baker, Levon Helm and, of course, Ringo.

Scott Siska: A veteran of thousands of live shows, Scott has been performing steadily since 1974. He has wielded his Fender bass with some of the Lehigh Valley’s finest bands. During the 70s he was a member of New Jersey’s legendary Slider, featuring Roger Girke. Scott spent the 80s working the low end for reggae/ska favorite Crisis. As the 90s approached, Scott changed musical gears and became the bassist for area Blues legend Mike Dugan and his Survival Band. Scott reunited with Roger Girke in the mid 90s in the soulful funk band Righteous. At this time Scott met Joe LaSorte as a frequent guest artist with Dr. Harmonica and Rockett 88. Spending the 2000s with jam band veteran Jake Kaligis and singer songwriter Steve Brosky, Scott again widened his musical and vocal skills. Most recently, Scott was bassist and singer for another Lehigh Valley rock band, the Lou Franco Project. Lou was a founding member of National act Pretty Poison and also Philly’s Don’t Call Me Francis. In 2010 Scott received recognition from the Lehigh Valley Music Awards as a longtime veteran of the area music scene. In December 2011, Scott received the industry-voted “Best Bass Player” award from LVMA. Now as a singer/bassist with the Teletones Scott lays down the groove and soul of the band and adds his unique vocal style. Scott plays Fender basses exclusively and counts among his musical influences Sir Paul McCartney, John Paul Jones, Jaco, James Jamerson and Sting.
